New to LinuxCNC and Servos.

I have a 7i92/7I77/DMM Dyn4 servo drivers. I have not been able to figure out how to get LinuxCNC to see the encoder input from the servo drivers. Trying to job the servos i either get a joint following error or continuous running. No movement on the DRO page. I know it is wired properly and connecting an oscilloscope to the A and B at the 7I77 I am getting the expected square wave from the driver.

I have tried all 3 drivers on various encoder inputs on the 7I77 with no affect. I have also tried replacing the ribbon between the 7I77 and 7I92. The 7I77 is independently powered, not through the 7I92. What am i missing here.

Are the encoder signals single ended or differential?
Is the 7I77 jumpered to match the encoder type?
Do you have 7I77 firmware installed on the 7I92 and the 7I77 connected
to 7I92 P2?

Wow that was fast, and easy. I was using P1 instead of P2.

I am still getting a joint following error, but i am at least seeing some movement on the DRO before the error.

They are differential encoders and jumpered correctly, to the right.
