Editing a Mesa bitfile for 7i94 + custom IO card-Do I need to?

Pretty sure the 7i94ssd.bit is the best starting point, but I really don't know.

The new IO card (version 1) has 8 each 24V class 3 compliant inputs, and 8 24V relay driver outputs, and takes 5V and ground for card-to-card I/O from the 7i94, and an external isolated 24V and field ground for the field I/O.

The 26 pin header is configured as below:

Pins 1 through 8 are configured as OUTPUT0 through OUTPUT7, and control a ULN2803 darlington transistor array for the 24V relay coil outputs

Pins 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, and 23 are configured as INPUT0 through INPUT7, and are mated to a Si8380P PLC Input Isolator, and have LED indicators to indicate a LOGIC HIGH input.

Pins 10, 12, 14, and 16 are all tied to ground, and provide the logic grounds for both the ULN2803 and the Si8380P.

Pins 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26 are all tied to the +5V logic power for both the ULN2803 and the Si8380P

Pin 25 is not connected.

Can I just use the 7i94 SSD bitfile and assign names and directions for pins somewhere?

You don't need a custom bitfile for that, you just need to set the appropriate
GPIO bits to output mode (GPIO pins default to input mode)

That's what I thought-I need to learn how to do that when I get the PC wiped and re-installed.
