Have an existing parport install that I am changing to a 7i76E card. Am also installing from a new PC.
Am initially just trying to get a single Stepper working
When running pnconf the test of the X-Axis fails and when run from the cmd line shows

 **** INFO firmware 0 changed

Unsure where the IPtables issue is coming from, but is suspect.

I get a similar error when I run linuxcnc
LINUXCNC - 2.8.0

Machine configuration file is 'mechmate.ini'

(0, ' = ', '/usr/bin/gmoccapy')

I am running on 192.168.1.121 (it does not conflict) but have tried 10.10.10.10. With either address
mesaflash --device 7i76e --addr 192.168.1.121 --readhmid
results in the attached log, so comms appears Ok.

I am chasing both the realtime issue and the comms issue. Is it likely that the realltime issue is stopping comms with the Mesa?
Note the CR1 LED is on on the 7i76E card

Did you run the latency test?

For a Mesa ethernet card just run for a while...
latency-histogram --nobase --sbinsize 1000 --show
