Analog input boards? 4-20 ma , temp sensong was created by jimmyrig
Looks like mesa has 0-10v analog input covered with the 7i87.
what are the options for 4-20 ma or any temp sensing (rtd, thermocouple, etc).
The only things I'm coming up with are
Rs485 (modbus) to plc with correct cardModbus to Arduino on custom PCB. Resistor to convert 4-20ma circuit to 0-10v for the mesa card......with a temp probe on a 0-10v sending unit..... To pretend the problem doesn't exist and just use the mesa 0-10v :-p ..... However this won't always be an option.
Hopefully I'm missing something simple.
Thanks everyone

THCAD can be used for Voltage from 5 , 10 and 300V full scale.
But since inside it measures current, it can be made to read that too, or temperature, or whatever.
If you want to fiddle, there is a small DIP8 chip that does voltage to frequency or vice versa, LM331 i think, not sure.
Also, the THCAD is fully isolated and can handle 500V indefinitely on the inputs.
