So if put a G540 on P1 +some MPG inputs on P2 that would work?

First, sorry for my consistently delayed responses. For some reason I can't actually post to this forum from any of my computers or phones except for my linux pc in my basement that is running linuxcnc.
I don't think I fully understand what you're saying. Currently my G540 is on P1 and the 7i75 is on P2, and unfortunately that is really the only realistic configuration for them due to control cabinet layout. The problem I have is that encoder0 is also on P1 according to mesaflash when I run --readhmid, but those pins are already in use by my limit switches. I can't move my limit switches to the 7i75 because they are running on 12V and the manual for that card specifically states NOT to connect continuous 12V to the inputs.

7I92 config with G540 on P1 and 2 full encoders + up to 4 MPG encoders on P2
pinned out for 7I75 so encoder/MPG pins do not straddle between TB2 and TB3

Wow, this is the second time you've provided me with custom firmware! Thank you so much!
Is there documentation you can point me to for how to do this myself so if for some reason I need to do it again I can figure it out rather than need to bug you/the forums?
