DIY 7i90 and EPP was created by Cant do this anymore bye all
Thinking of this route, for the signals from the LPT port should I run them through a FET bus switch ? Any suggestion in the way of termination and such ?
Cheers

The 7I90 uses bus switches so the interface is 5V tolerant
but it may be that most existing parallel ports use 3.3V signaling
levels. A little poking around with a voltmeter would be useful.
Termination (impedance matching) is not needed as the transaction
rate is quite low and the parallel port is not capable of driving parallel
termination.
