Mesa 7i77 Analog Enable

I've attached the all.txt file and also the complete hal and ini files.

The loadrt line is:

with the ini file parameters:
[HOSTMOT2]
DRIVER=hm2_eth
BOARD_IP=192.168.1.121
BOARD=7i92
CONFIG="sserial_port_0=110 sserial_port_1=00xxxx" 

sserial_port_0=110

Will cause the analog section of the 7I77 to fault because
the analog section has  no mode 1

Thanks! That's it - the analog enable is working now.

So the CONFIG line should be:
CONFIG="sserial_port_0=100 sserial_port_1=00xxxx" which puts the 7i77 (port_0) in software mode 1 with four analog inputs.

Thanks Tommy and PCW for all your help - I would never have suspected that's where the problem lay.

What GUI are you running? You should have got an error message,
something like:

hm2/hm2_7i92.0: Smart serial card hm2_7i92.0.7i77.0.1 remote error = (30) Illegal Remote Mode

I'm using AXIS. I didn't see any obvious error message. Where would the message appear? It would be easy enough to set the config back to the faulty setting and confirm whether an error message crops up or not.
