5i25T Board not found was created by nölen
Hello everyone.
I have built myself a small desktop milling machine. Originally, everything ran via paralell port with a Chinese BOB. Now I have bought a Mesa 5i25T + 7i76 (separately). In compliance with the ESD measures, I installed the 5i25T and wanted to flash it:
"sudo mesaflash --device 5i25t --write 5i25t_7i76x2d.bin --verbose"
"No 5I25T board found"

The power LED is illuminated and "lspci -v" shows:
"04:02.0 DPIO module: Device 2718:5925 (rev 01)
    Subsystem: Device 2718:5925
Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 5, IOMMU group 11
    Memory at f7d00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]"

I ran the Pncconf wizard where I was able to select Board-Name="5i25-Internal Data", Firmware="7i76x2 -With One 7i76", completed the configuration and finally was able to start the software without errors (the 7i76 still not connected).

Why can't I flash the 5i25T? What am I missing?
Many thanks in advance!

Its likely that you will need to update your copy of mesaflash to support the 5I25T

(build/install instructions at bottom of page)

Thank you, the update of mesaflash has solved the problem. I was expecting the latest mesaflash to come with the latest linuxcnc image, but apparently not.
