MesaTool 2 Instal Issue was created by Project_Hopeless
I've downloaded the package mesact_2.1.3_amd64.deb. I installed using GDebi package installer, but nothing seems to happen. Terminal does not open up and scroll through the various packages. I can't get the tool to run from terminal, i get the error, bash: mesact: command not found.
Any ideas.

In a terminal, type mesa and press the TAB key, see if it shows it then press enter.

In a terminal, type mesa and press the TAB key, see if it shows it then press enter.
All that comes up is... mesaflash and mesa-overlay-control.py

report?
From the terminal nothing, not even a not found kind of message.

I'm not Linux savvy but I'm not even being asked to enter my usr or pwd like I usually do trying to install the package. Is there maybe a permission thing going on.

It opens up "Package Installer - mesact""
Then nothing happens after that.

That should have been the first thing you said.
Open a terminal, navigate to where the downloaded file is located and type
sudo gdebi Name_of_file.deb
Replace name of file with actual file name, that should show more info.
