Yaskawa SGMG servo and SGDV servopack

Purchased a TSUDAKOMA RNCV-201RB rotary table off ebay that has a Yaskawa SGMG-09A2ADS .85KW AC servo and would like to know if I can power the unit with a SGDV servopack instead of the original SGDB-10ADG servopack? The SGDV is a few generations newer for setup and tuning with software.

Also can I use a lower rated servopack if I don't need the full rating of the servo?

Higher rated servopack for a lower rate motor?


I have experience with the SGDV servopacks in the current system and would like to continue with them if possible.
