Has anyone retrofitted a Thermwood Model C40 router with linux cnc? This machine has Siemens servo system.

I'm thinking about doing the same on a 5 axis Model 67 (2 tables 5'x5'). Maybe we could collaborate.

Do you know what type of command signal the servo drives take?
The conversion is likely to be moderately simple unless the drives take some proprietary serial data format or suchlike.
