Newbie crashed+b first router bit: Cheap bits from ebay for training and testing

Hi all,

as you may read in the topic, my CNC is running and I am a total newbie.
That lead me to crash one of my route bits into a clamp and brake it. No animals where harmed, I swear

However, I would now rather prefer using some cheap chinese router bits while I gain some more experience and create some test objects.

Are there any recommendations? Is there something like "The" shop for such cheap router bits or should I take the first offer on ebay?

Thanks
DomCa

Breaking bits mean
GOOD CNC
always new Shark tools
and maybe take more time
on G-code generating and feedrate

Well done

Tools depends on material and surface need to spend money on it

Learning by doing is often best, You probably won't make that mistake again.

Cheap bits often aren't worth the metal they are made out of.

Ok. Then I will replace the broken one and be more careful in the future.

Thanks for the tips

It also doesn't hurt to do a dry run with no tool if you are unsure.
