Hurco BMC 30 AP

I traced the path on the circuit board a bit and came across the following two components: 75174N-H and SN75175N.

That makes sense, the 75175 is likely the differential encoder input circuit
and the 75174 is used for an emulated encoder output or some such...

 

I'll swap them both and see if that solves the problem. Otherwise, it'll be difficult.

A quick update from my end: I replaced the two components on the encoder board, but unfortunately, the encoder signal is still not being processed. Without a schematic, I really don't know where else to look.

I'm still waiting for the optocoupler so I can get the second board back up and running.

I replaced the optocoupler, and the output is working again.I attempted to set up the tool changer. Unfortunately, I keep receiving the following error messages when starting LinuxCNC. Attached is my .ini file.

Those seem like two separate issues, one remap is not doing OK and the other complaining about gcode, are you running the default "Linux CNC" gcode?
