So I'm an opportunistic scavenger, and lets just say that some very good equipment has fallen into my lap. It was going to be scrapped and I saved it.
I want to make a cnc router/mill out of the bits I have. My question is, has anyone used something like the LEP / LUDL MAC 2000 stepper controller rack with EMC? IT communicates directly over RS232 and I have most of teh documentation. I know it accepts step and direction inputs but I haven't had a chance to test it with a terminal program.
