Yes the problem is this:

Local APIC disabled by BIOS -- you can enable it with "lapic"

Hi

I will try to inable APIC

but i want to inform you that i have another HDD with UBUNTU 8.04 and i'v updated EMC2 v2.3 to Linuxcnc 2.5.1 and it is working fine on the same machine

Unfortunately this 'feature' came in with 10.04.
8.04 was unaffected, other than occassionally requiring APIC to be disabled if already enabled
