Linuxcnc connect

Hi!
I'm a student of informatics engineering and I'm a beginner in cnc and I nedd some help.
I have a cnc machine (fanuc 18M) and now I can connect pc to machine using rs232 connection to send cnc programs.
I want to know if it's possible to use linuxcnc with this machine?How?

Hi

Linuxcnc is a machine controller, not a DNC program.

You could replace the Fanuc controller with Linuxcnc, but it is not intended to drip feed / remote feed programs to other controllers.
