I'm fresh to Linux so this might be a stupid question for you more experienced users.
I installed the Linux CNC image on WMware player just to have a plase to test it.
When i run the update manager I'm asked for a password.
What is this password? Is it my user password or is it a generic admin password?
Is ther anybody that know a good but not geeky tutorial for linux?
