Change Latency Numbers was created by rjshust
I changed the video card in the machine for my CNC, and now have much better latency / jitter numbers.
I would like to upgrade these numbers in my setup, but I have customized my system, so I would rather not let stepconf overwrite everything.
I am assuming I could go into the files and manually upgrade these numbers, but I am not seeing them.
What files need to be changed, and is there anything special that needs to be done to make this work out right in the end.
Thanks for any help,
Rob

Value is BASE_THREAD = (period)
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/config/...html#_emcmot_section
To work out what it should be
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/motion/...l#cha:Stepper-Tuning
Or to fly by the seat of your pants, just double the max jitter you get and start there and amend up or down depending upon whether that hits problems in testing
