Hello everybody!
Why on my lathe G61 does not work on circles?
Here's a picture of it.
Draws correctly and in the program indicated G61 and even G61.1.
But there is a straight line from start point to end point.
Here is a code:
N298 G3 X--56.794 Z[-2.843-0.2] R129.474
The R(radius in mm) is not so much to be a line, right?

As you can see, the white color shows the desired path, and red that happened. 2 times. This I rechecked.

I have a simple question - why?

Can you show us all the G-code?

I can't reproduce the problem here, but I did need to set G18 (XZ plane) and G7 (diameter mode) for it to make sense.

Can you repeat with a G18 and G7 (and no material, just in case)

G18 and G7 is in INI file.
[RS274NGC]
RS274NGC_STARTUP_CODE = G18 G21 G90 G7 G95

If I put G17 in my file I will see lines, not arcs.
So G18 was active.

Do they show up in active G-codes in the MDI tab of Axis?

Yes.
Usually arcs work fine. But not this time.

I am rather puzzled, then, to be honest.
But, I can't reproduce the problem here.
Perhaps a feature of your machine settings?

What version of LinuxCNC are you using?

2.7.8
It draws correctly, but performs incorrectly.

I ran the program several times and that's what I saw.
after the first run of program, G18 changes to G17.
and the second run is going incorrect, but the graphics is correct, because the program does not reloaded.
It is a mistake in the Axis.
