Hello
I have some strange issues with LinuxCNC
Programs are running fine but for some reason the machine stop running completely after some time.
LinuxCNC stays on, all axis can move, spindle can start no problem. But spindle and all axis stop once it happens. No error or drives/spindle in error mode. I can rerun the program and sometimes it finishes and sometimes it just stops again.
Is there a way how I can check why it stops?

I have exactly this problem right now on my lathe. In my case it is that a button is failing (coolant ingress probably). In my case it is connected to halui,mode.manual.

Do you have any physical buttons? What are they connected to?

I have proved that my button is the problem by disconnecting it in HAL.

10 points for you
I disabled the Stop button for the pendant and all is working fine now!

If the button is not actually broken then you might be able to re-connect it using a debounce component in HAL.
The issue is probably electrical noise. (In my case I think it is a damaged switch)
