Axis Machine show Hal was created by jensor
Using Axis 2.7.11 under Machine/ Show Hal configuration, Watch tab suddenly shows a blank screen.
What would cause this?

That will always show a blank screen until you select on the left side what should be shown there, usually you choose "pins" then something else there then choose the actual pin you want shown on the right.

I have chosen a pin and it responds on the show panel but when I click on the Show tab I see blank screen. It used to work okay this way, but suddenly (after I began having problems with not wanting to start Axis with my current Hal file - I was then able to start with an original Hal file) I found that the Show screen not responding as it used to.

Show first, then click on the pin you want to be shown.

Note that you can save a watch-tab config to file from the Halshow "File" menu.

And the utility is available with all GUIs (and none) even if there is no menu item to open it using "halcmd loadusr halshow" from the command line.
