Today I going to make my own spindle encoder disc.
But I have a problem with encoder disc which it is

slot width of the disc should be equal with teeth width or could be different with each other but pitch of the pcd is equal pitch all the time.my case slot width and teeth width same 3mm.But if I am unable cut this solt and teeth same size are any problem with Spindle Index pulse or Phase A?

I planned to cut this encoder disc with 10mm thick disc and will machine to 5mm thickness pcd 114.6mm and OD 120.6mm teeth pitch 3mm,depth of the slot will be suitable size to the optocouplers.
I don't have a slitting saw so I will grind a tool bit 3mm width and insert it to fly cutter and cut the slots.
:)

Never made one, so can not help much.
From that picture, that will work, but you will need two sets of sensors at different depths for it to work, or a singe set that has two sensors in line.
Get a soldering iron, heat it and use it to make slots on a CD. It will take a few tries but it is much easier to make something useable.........or not, you need that for a lathe so it needs to have a big hole in the middle !

I think you are more likely to get a response if you would post a specific question.

What you want is equal on/off time of the A ( and B if its present ) signals.
This will allow the maximum count rate at a given base thread rate.

This usually means that the slots and teeth should be equal width,
though optical sensor design and sensitivity will also affect the on/off times.

I think equal width is a good thing to aim for, but if its too difficult, unequal slot/tooth
spacing will still work, it will just limit your maximum RPM.

Its also worth considering that unless you are threading very
small diameter parts you may not need the encoder to track
the spindle at more than say 1000 RPM
