Gmoccapy: no audio available

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to find out why Gmoccapy wont enable the audio for warnings.
I can play music and videos fine. I installed the python-gst1.0 and all the plugins but I still get this:

**** GMOCCAPY INFO ****
**** no audio available! ****
**** PYGST libray not installed? ****
**** is installed? ****

I'm running Stretch:
Linux LinuxCNC 4.9.0-11-rt-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Debian 4.9.189-3+deb9u1 (2019-09-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux

and LinuxCNC 2.9.0-pre0-785

Please let me know if you guys know a workaround.

Gmoccapy can't use python-gst1.0

it requires the old version (gst0.10) which is not available on newer distributions.
Until the GUIs support the new sound library - you are stuck
