- I will post a picture of my config panel this evening. before calling it last night, I did try and tuning out by adjusting the scale up and down, no luck...

side note... when the voltage reading jumps from 000 to -000 the arc on light goes on and off along with ohmic test button coming on and off as well. at this time i don't have that set up, even wired.

- right now I have the primeweld cut 60 plasma cutter., I provided a link to it below. comparing the everlast manual to the primweld cut 60, they appear to be very similar machines
a couple question,
1-should I mount my THCAD-10 in or on my plasma machine or keep it in my control box?
2- how can I determine what factor my machine is off by.
3- should I rewire my cnc port pigtail to the 16:1 or raw arc voltage ? if you recommend rewiring, i would at this point wire in the arc on connections. should this cable also be shielded?

thanks for everyone help. I can see the finish line is close.

Very similar look.

So a quick look back, you had -74 volts. I assumed you have changed the sign of the encoder scale so its now showing +74 volts.

74 * 1.5 = 109.5 volts. That is pretty much bang on where I would expect where your arc voltage should be.

My cut voltage was way low against what I expected. The way I worked it out was to use 2 x 48 volt power supplies (96 volts) and plug them into the divider board inside the machine. I did post on plasma spider plasmaspider.com/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=23700
And in my spaceship plasma build thread here.

So I would leave your wiring as is, remove any scaling resistors and reset Plasmac for a 75:1 divider. It does not really matter what is shown on the machine. becasue you don't have cut charts for it. So do that and just use auto volt sampling in Plasmac. If you do want to use raw volts, then the resistors in place make the voltage non-lethal so you can just change you wiring around to pick up the raw arc voltage and scale as per the manual for 300v. (including the 200K already there) But I would not bother.

I up loaded the wrong file.
here is the correct one.
So with this build. I have my mode 0 with a scale 0.01985851 and offset 3668.7500.
like i posted before Voltage reading jumps from -00 to 000 and arc ok on the screen goes on and off , along with ohmic test button.. I can pulse torch on and off. but when i go to run a test cut I get arc ok lost error. and this is where I'm stuck
