Delta asd-b2 was created by billykid
hi, I have a Delta asd-b2 drive with a 400 watt motor, I wanted to use it for the spindle at low rpm but it can be controlled via rs 485 like the normal vfds like hy_vfd?. I don't think I've seen such a component for delta.

You might be able to use the generic hal_modbus component?

Thanks Andy, I thought the b2 model didn't have modbus like the a2.
however i fitted a parker dc 400 watt so i used the 7i40.

I did some tests, with the delta software and a usb - rs232 adapter I tried to run it and everything works, then I loaded mb2hal on linuxcnc putting serial mode in the config.ini.
in the hal configuration all the pins appear but they are inactive, I also tried a usb stick - rs485 like the one I use for the huang yang vfd but it is the same.
for now I don't need it because I used another dc servo but in the future I will enjoy making it work if it is possible.
