CNC4PC MPG2 Pendant and StepConf was created by krigby
Hi,
I am trying to set up a CNC4PC MPG2 pendant. I have the pendant connected to a CNC4PC C22 board and that is connected to the second parport at address d010. I can see pins 2 and 3 change in HAL config when I jog the wheel. But that is about as far as I have gotten. Can someone guide me on what to select for the pins in StepConf please?
Should the parport be set as input or output?
I don't see any change on any pins when I change the axis or the scale on the pendant. The LED on the pendant is not lit up, and what is that button on the side for?
I've attached my ini, hal and stepconf files.
Thanks,
Kent

The custom.hal looks good, but only jogs in Axis mode, when the machine is homed.
If you home the machine, does it work then?
It is possible to add joint jogging pins if you want to jog before homing.
