Hi, witch type encoder I should have, and how to configure settings for that was created by Mich77
Hi, I have this stepperdriver board:
ODIN 3D & 4D DETAILS STEPPERMOTOR-BOARD (deutsche-werke.de),
There is only one input for each X,Y,Z encoder trough pins 12,13, and 15, 5v ttl. So I can´t use rotary encoder wich have more than one output per axis.
Help, please
PS. And what mean Auto-correction of realpos.?

No you an not use normal encoders with it, but you can add another PCI or PCI-E to parallel port card and connect several normal encoders. They are cheap, but some will not work at all as they emulate the port in software, some do work out of the box. For PCI type ones, i had over 20 of NetMOS or MOSChip ones, all are still working perfectly, so see if you can find something with those names on the chip.
Now the question, do you already have encoders?

The page you linked has some badly translated info, it is a simple stepper drive for parallel port, so you do not need encoders, although they keep referring to their software, so maybe, just maybe, not that simple.

I have three ir-speed sensors, 200 pulses/ rotation, those have three legs, one for output, and others are +5vdc and Gnd, can not I use those, Card works fine with linuxcnc, but thinking that get relative position information from encoders
