How can i start a project with 6 axis stepper motors, through the parrallel port?  I use the DB25 port and the DB25-1205 board
Each Stepper motor is Nema 17 with 6 DM420A driver controllers
Thanks a lot.

Get the LinuxCNC ISO from the downloads page, write it to USB, boot the PC from it, install it to HDD, reboot.
Make a config for XYZA, wire drives to BOB (beware it does require 2 of 5V power supplies if you need isolation, only one if no isolation is required), see if stuff moves around.
Another thing to be aware of, the BOB uses really slow optocouplers, so might need to use a very slow base period, at least 100000.

thanks tommylight for your quick answer, Few questions to understand you. 1) Why i must re install Linuxcnc if i have already install it? 2) What do you mean with BOB? Is it the B25-1205? 3) XYZA lets me control B & C stepper motors?

Many thanks tommy

Sorry, i understood you that BOB is B25-1204, so forget about number 2 question. Number 3 question means can i add B & C steppers motors in XYZA? 4) as i need to use many pins, i think i must use 2 of 5v isolated. What do you think?
Many thanks

The installation description was added for completeness since it was not clear that you already have LinuxCNC installed, so disregard.

Use the PNCconf tool to create a configuration for a XYZA machine as it does not let you create a 6 axis configuration. You then need to modify the created hal and ini files to change the XYZA to XYZABC or whatever you need.
