Hi everybody,
some words to present me.
I use LinuxCNC since 2 years with little (very small) 3 axis stepper milling machine and all is OK.
Now I try to upgrade classic lathe in CNC lathe with servomotor and Mesa 5i20 card but I have some problems. This is the reason why I'm with you tonight, I will post my asks because I read a lot in LinuxCNC.org but don't find exact response...

My system :
PC with Asrock PV5301-ITX and 2Go RAM
MESA 5i20 use SVST8_4 driver but only with 2 servo (other in GPIO)
-P2 (I/O 0 to 23) drive the 2 servos directly, AMT-103 be drive by 5i20 5volt source, and servo powered by 35 volts PWM drive.
-P3 (I/O 24 to 47) is used with 7i37 protection card to read end and POM detectors.

OS : UBUNTU 10.04 LTS
LinuxCNC : 2.5.3

My problem :
I use PncConf but when I want use the test axe function "TEST BOUCLE OUVERTE"

and when I press "Validation Ampli"

I have this message :

"Blablabla... PNCconf have problem...
Traceback (Most recent call last) :
File "/usr/bin/pncconf", line 9106, in on_enableamp_toggledself.update_axis_params()
File "/usr/bin/pncconf", line 9076, in update_axis_paramshalrun.flush()
IOError: Errno 32 relais brisé (pipe)"

But if I open a console and log Root and start PncConf in the console all is OK...

I have same problem if I try to start LinuxCNC directly with shortcut (a long message with a lot of errors), but if I open console, log root and start LinuxCNC in the console all is OK.

If you can explain me where is the problem I thank you by adavance.

Magically your,
