PNCconf + Mesa 7i94 was created by Moreira
Hello,
I'm new to LinuxCNC and I need some help to start creating a HAL file to interface with Mesa 7I94 + STMBL.
Can I use the PNCconf to create the HAL file?
Is there an example for this board?
Best Regards,
Laura

You could make a generic hal file with pncconf for a 7I92 or similar and change all the "7i92"s to "7I94"s but there's still a bit of pin name changing needed for the STMBL pins (pncconf doesn't know about STMBL drives)
I suspect you will need to get some help from someone with a working STMBL setup

There is a single-axis sample config here.
github.com/rene-dev/stmbl/blob/master/do...ed.adoc#stmbl-config
It is really rather simple, direct 1:1 mapping of LinuxCNC pins to STMBL pins.
[Edit} That wasn't meant to sound like "It's so simple, what is your problem"? I was commenting on how nicely STMBL integrates with LinuxCNC.
