All seems OK from a quick glance, that brings the question: are you using GmoccaPy?
Not sure if that is the cause/issue, but i am sure GmoccaPy does some stuff o it's own.

net spindle-vel-cmd-rpm-abs => pid.s.command
means that the spindle output is scaled directly in RPM
so unless the requested RPM is 2000, you will not get
a full scale analog output

Ok, I am getting spindle output voltages now. I set the NO_FORCE_HOMING=1 in my .ini so I could issue S2000 M3 from the MDI. Thanks for the help.
BTW, is there a way to 'request' a spindle rpm other than and 'S' command through the MDI?

F9 >>>run forward
F10 >>run reverse
F11 >>speed down
F12 >>speed up
