This subroutine is for rigid tapping on a lathe. You don't need to figure out the pitch just know the TPI and the thread depth.

Slightly tricky to use for metric thread.
It would be really neat if it knew to calculate differently in metric mode...

There would not be any need to calculate a metric thread pitch. So maybe some way to switch back and forth from metric to imperial thread systems...

Here is one that does both imperial and mm rigid tapping. Please note this one returns the system back to inch with G20 and when you pick mm the dimensions are mm too. If you set parameter 1 to anything other than 0 or 1 you get your hand spanked...
