GScreen Lathe Install

I am trying to get a GScreen Lathe configuration installed. I cloned master and copied an AXIS sim configuration and edited the .ini file with the parameters shown on the GScreen wikl page for [DISPLAY] and such, except modified for lathe. I would like to use the new Gremlin X2 view, but I need to know how this is invoked and any other hints or links to get a working lathe configuration. Thanks.

PS, I get a "homing status 7" error while trying to home.

I commented out all of the HOME_ parameters in the .ini file and homing seems to work now. It doesn't simulate finding an index, but that's fine for now.

I found the view feature, click Graphics button and Change View.

There is a lathe based sample config under sim/gscreen

no idea what homing status 7 means - the error messages leave something to be desired!
