Screen shots of gui designs

Installed opencv, so that error is gone, but the pref file is missing and the Linuxcnc error log shows those strange symbols that i never see on other config errors.
Did you by any chance edit any files on a windows PC ?

No editing was done in Windows. By strange symbols, do you mean the line endings?

Fixed program prefix, still get the same errors, division by zero and missing preference file.

add an empty file with the preference path to fix that error

Yup that did it, also moved it to the usual Linuxcnc config directory. Now it starts without errors but:
No images on probe screen
errors when closed, will check later
does load the file but there is nothing on the preview screen
