gscreen/emc_interface.py
please keep a copy of the original so you can go back if there is a problem.
You will need to be sudo to modify the files.
(There are other ways to do this but this is one way, use what is familiar to you)
in a terminal
sudo thunar
(depends on what system you are using, hopefully you have thunar)
should get you a sudo file manager
Using the sudo file manager, I would temporarily rename the original file then copy in the new file.
then kill the sudo file manager so you don't do any accidental damage.
Then try linuxcnc and see if i did any good

i did try using 'find' and 'grep' to try and locate that file and had no luck.....but i searched for EMC_Interface.py maybe the capitol letters balled that attempt up. im confident ill be able to get that accomplished and ill get back with you tomorrow after i get home from work.
Thanks again, i do appreciate it.
