Any progress on QTLazerC or was created by Hendrixx
The last cool thing i remeber reading or putting any effort into was the gentleman from Proma on a Monokrom thread asking people to beta test his. Capactive THC Analog DC converter, I wonder how that went? And then ther was the makerspace that hacked together a usable motion control to build their fiber system from some clever manipulation of QTPlasma . other then finding a laser power source which will happen sooner then laater "fingers cross"Â

Since no one stepped in, i do recall that discussion but not the end result.
I did refrain from posting there as i still vigorously maintain that capacitive sensing has no business near a plasma machine, as proven by a quick glance at new industrial machines.
I did remove plenty of fully functioning capacitive sensors from industrial plasma machines and replaced with float switch. It never fails.

Once you get hypersensing figured out its a no brainer float switch is your backup, Hypersening allows you to probe surface so quick its scary, I use Hypersensing to set tool height offsets on my router had to modify the g38s with digita on offs to stop the probing erros i think theorically it is the most accurate method with known physics to measure that i have a isolated touchplate mounted to the machine and just set up my work offset with my probe then ehen every M6 asks to to load new tool it will check if then go to town untill i get ATC this is the best metod i could think up

Interesting feedback but may not be relevant here. Any switch or relay introduces hysteresis. Switches have hysteresis from physical travel mechanical relays add delays from contact travel, even digital relays have hysteresis between their on and off voltages eg turn on at 15 volts and off at 5 volts. Hypersening on the other hand uses moving averages and eliminates hysteresis because it is triggered at a voltage threshold you set and turns off as soon as the voltage is trending downwards hence your scary probing times!Hypersening allows you to probe surface so quick its scary, I use Hypersensing to set tool height offsets on my router had to modify the g38s with digita on offs to stop the probing erros i think theorically it is the most accurate method with known physics.
