Servoproblem MR-J2S-70A

Hallo zusammen,

ich hab da ein Servoproblem.
Ich hab hier ein MR-J2S-70A Servotreiber mit einem HC-KFS750.
Mir war der Motor gestorben und ich hatte beim Ali mir einen Ersatz besorgt.
Nachdem ich den Motor angeklemmt hab, bekomme ich kurz darauf den Fehler AL.20. (Encoder Fehler 2)
Allerdings, wenn ich die Welle weiter drehe, zählt der Encoder normal weiter.
Hatte jemand schon mal ein ähnlichen Problem?

AL.20 - the encoder detects a problem and reports it to the drive. it tries to continue to count, but such motor won't work.
it can be a misaligned encoder optical pickup, a contaminated glass disc, an excessive play in the tail bearing... in any case it needs adjustment/repair

I will first open the case and take a closer look at the encoder.
PS: is there a way to save the old encoder? He got over-tensioned. The data is now incorrect.

Großartig was ihr da geleistet habt.

Ich werde erst mal das Gehäuse öffnen und mir den Encoder näher anschauen.
PS: gibt es die Möglichkeit, den alten Encoder zu retten? Er hat Überspannung bekommen. Die Daten sind jetzt fehlerhaft.

huh, that was a while ago... i really have a very loose recollection of that discussion...

saving the old encoder - what do you mean by "Überspannung"? how did that happen?

I opened the motor and found that it was opened.
There were fingerprints on the case and dust on the encoder disk. 
I cleaned the encoder disk with Alc. After the test, unfortunately, again AL.20

To the old engine.
I had installed a line filter and badly grounded the machine.
Now I had 115V on the case. When the control voltage came in, the servos malfunctioned and one of them was completely broken.
The position of the encoder jumps and shows inconsistent values.

they are quite tolerant to minor dust/scratches... you can try to loosen 2 mounting screws just to hold the encoder body in place and try to shift it around within holes clearance. power-cycle the amp, manually rotate the shaft and see if AL.20 is still there. if the encoder is ok, usually it is possible to find a working location in a few attempts. don't know any better method.

the disc has to be aligned with the rotor, so don't loosen its set screws.

i once had an encoder which was giving AL.20 no matter how i tried to align it. tried to replace the LED - didn't help either. a replacement encoder worked fine with the same disc. so they can go bad...

sorry, no idea about the overvoltage-damaged one...

ein gesundes neues Jahr und gute Nachrichten.
Ich habe den Encoder nochmal abgebaut und die Scheibe gründlich mit Alcohol gereinigt.
Nach dem einbauen funktioniert er jetzt einwandfrei.

I dismantled the encoder again and cleaned the disc thoroughly with alcohol.
After installing it now works fine.
