Input scale was created by jeffie-3
I have been trying to figure out the input scale.
This is what I have.
2048 steps on the encoder. 5 tpi on the ball screw. two pulleys 12 tooth to 24 tooth. X and Y
2000 steps on the encoder. 5 tpi on the ball screw. two pulleys 10 tooth to 18 tooth Z

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Jeff

1. 2048*5*24/12
2. 2000*5*18/10

Assuming:
1. 2048 and 2000 are counts per turn (if they are encoder PPR the numbers above must be multipled by 4)
2. The small pulleys are on the motor
3. Machine units are inches

Thank you so much.I see the error. I was dividing 12 by 24. Not 24 by 12. Yes the smaller pulley is on the motor.
Thank you...

1. Yes but will double check
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
