Turning: limit rpm

Hello

Just got my lathe retrofit running and took first cuts.

Does linuxcnc has G-code to limit max rpm of spindle?

Facing big parts in CSS mode with lathe that has 5000rpm spindle will give give you those brown pants moments....

Also tool change is pit unclear to me.

I would like to not to move any tool change position before changing tool.

how to make changes in lathe tool change procedure?
I have my own tool change program , but I want to control / take off any movement before tool change program call.
