After successfully homing all - Y axis lurches in negative direction

My issue sounds identical to this topic's OP:
"After Home - Y axis takes off in negative =SOLVED"
forum.linuxcnc.org/38-general-linuxcnc-q...gative-solved#261458

The answers there were:
  • Make Y axis homing velocity negative  — I think mine already is?
  • Flip stepper motor wiring so the stepper spins the other way — I can do this, but since the homing is already moving in the right direction, doesn't that mean the stepper motor wiring is already correct?
Attached are my current HAL and INI files:

Thanks in advance for any nudge in the right direction!

As requested here is video of the successful homing followed by a lurch in Y-min direction:

Wow, that's an easy fix. And now that I realize it was my own doing because the tutorial I was following calls for moving to another corner away from Y-min to "park" out of the way for the insertion of metal for a job, and I was missing that it was that, not homing! I feel sheepish! Thank you!

Just reporting back that the fix was indeed to change the final home location from 30 to -30!

Thank you so much!

Update: Just now realizing this issue both was and is directly related to the later discovered situation of what seems like "backwardness" of all axes, which I'm inquiring about here:

forum.linuxcnc.org/49-basic-configuratio...l-axes-jog-backwards

In the matter in this thread, I had asked for a move 30" in the Y+ direction to park the cutter. It was moving in what to me seems like the Y- direction, which during homing is treated as the Y- direction.

Basically, I had to change to asking for a negative direction to achieve what seems to be a positive direction. :-)
