10.10 - "vesamenu.c32: not a COM32R image"

The ony reason I had to try to install an older Ubuntu than 10.10 from linuxcnc-org is, that when I create a bootable USB device with Ubuntu 10.04 and I try to boot this image....my computer tells me "vesamenu.c32: not a COM32R image".
First I thought, it would be in case of the old hardware I'm using for my cnc-computer. But now I gave it a shoot and tried to boot it on my regular PC. But it has the same error.
Some linux-mint oder Suse have the same problem - it seems depending on the way how to create the bootable USB device.
What could I do to get a proper working USB device with 10.10 EMC2-Ubuntu created with an 11.04 Ubuntu?
Startup-disc-creator causes this error...

To solve this problem, I created the bootable USB device with "UNetbootin" instead of Startup-Disc-Creator.

No I could install Ubuntu 10 with EMC2 without any trouble. :)

Is that miss-type on the "No" or the wrong smiley?

Are you saying that it is working OK now?
