Ubuntu "Bus error" was created by Rodimatteo
Hy everyone !!...
I've downloaded 10.04 Lucid Lynx and 8.04 Hardy Heron from this web site and i've also burned these image to a disc.
When I've tried to install, Lucid Lynx first and Hardy Heron then, after the selection language page the monitor was just keeping on
displaying the ubuntu logo.
Then I've started typeing on the keyboard and when i pressed "0" a dos screen appeard with written "bus error", and further below,
"failed to connect to socket".
I really don't know what to do and I'll appreciate every your advice.

You might google for that error with ubuntu.
What kind of computer are you trying to install it on?
Does it meet the minimum requirements for installing Ubuntu?

Got It !!
As i've successfully installed ubuntu+emc2 with another burned cd, I think the problem was in the old one, which was a "rw" cd also previously burned.
(Why ? ... because it was cheaeper ...)
I hope the machine runs ....
