Screen corruption when running EMC was created by matherp
Hi all
I've just installed the most recent .iso on a C3 based computer with a CLE266 embedded video. The install worked fine and ubuntu works properly. The CLE266 uses the unichrome driver which is a standard part of ubuntu 8.04. This is loaded correctly and displays properly at 1400 x 1050
When I run EMC, the main screen comes up correctly but then I get diagonal black bands across the complete desktop. These appear to have something in them and I think are the contents of the preview tab which have "escaped".
Any ideas appreciated
Best regards
Peter

More information - this doesn't occur when I run EMC2 direct from the CD.
