Is there a need for a LinuxCNC image already on a CD or USB drive like OSDisc.com does for some versions of Linux;
in-other-words for users with slow internet connections or non techie users?

I thought about offering this service for a small fee.

I also have a few paperback versions of the manuals for us old farts that still like physical books.

I have a website, but I have not finished setting up a store because I was not sure if anyone would be interested.

If there is any interest in this service please go to my contact page at www.krimmindustries.com/contact.html and send a message.

Is it legal to sell open source software?
Yes. The FSF/GNU page titled "Selling Free Software" should clear up any questions you have, see www.gnu.org/philosophy/selling.html

Krimm Industries is not really selling the software, instead it is charging for software redistribution costs, like labor, materials, office space etc.
