Should I downgrade to 2.8? was created by JetForMe
Things seem to be working fairly well with my 2.9.x installation, but I'm a little worried about the instability of it when new releases come out. Can I easily downgrade to 2.8? What would I be giving up? I have a gantry machine with two y-axis servos.

If it runs no need to take action
NEVER update a Running System if it is not nessesary on Hardware
if fearing autoupdate
# hide sourcelist entry
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
