emc2-install.sh install dependency python

I've done all that I can think of to get this to install on 10.04. It installed on one laptop fine, the other not, both have same install of 10.04 and have all updates including latest Python.

I get this error, below, on executing the install script

Ideas on what I can do to fix this??

I would download the LiveCD and install from that. The link is on the left...
