Rick,thanks for the response
I have run the latency test and it's OK.I read that you specify thread and my results are:

I have a double core machine
I have OpenGL driver for a graphics card
EMC doesnt work from the LiveCD
Latency test works fine from the LiveCD and from installed Ubuntu 10.04
The real time kernel has loaded -Linux andrey-desktop 2.6.32-122-rtai #rtai SMP Tue Jul 27 12:44:07 CDT 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

Hello Andrey,

If you have not already you may want to take a look here...

Rick,thanks for help.
I have not resolved my problem . I turned to the two links above, fulfilled all the recommendations contained there.
I'm not positive yet. Here is my RTAI latency calibration:

RTAI Testsuite - KERNEL latency (all data in nanoseconds)
RTH| lat min| ovl min| lat avg| lat max| ovl max| overruns
RTD| -1688| -1688| -1370| 2017| 2017| 0
RTD| -1697| -1697| -1380| 2717| 2717| 0
RTD| -1685| -1697| -1376| 2074| 2717| 0
RTD| -1687| -1697| -1360| 2356| 2717| 0
RTD| -1687| -1697| -1369| 3506| 3506| 0
RTD| -1697| -1697| -1365| 2041| 3506| 0
RTD| -1688| -1697| -1372| 2175| 3506| 0
RTD| -1691| -1697| -1362| 4695| 4695| 0
RTD| -1695| -1697| -1385| 2192| 4695| 0
RTD| -1687| -1697| -1369| 3746| 4695| 0
RTD| -1685| -1697| -1366| 3260| 4695| 0
RTD| -1700| -1700| -1362| 1910| 4695| 0
RTD| -1687| -1700| -1357| 2130| 4695| 0
RTD| -1686| -1700| -1374| 4303| 4695| 0
^CRTD| -1686| -1700| -1374| 4303| 4695| 0

It seems to me. That here everything is OK...Now I'm at a dead end .

The latency is very good. And that proves you have the right kernel, too.

Have you tried starting with a different user interface?

Andy,
I've tried all the user interfaces with simulation config, but the result is negative(
I have two comments:
1)Sometimes the program runs (very rarely)
2)EMC (with Lucid) is installed on a laptop Acer Aspire 5112

Perhaps the problem in the hardware...

Andy,
I read the link you specified. All RTAI components and modules are loaded .

andrey@andrey-desktop:~$ ls -l /dev/RTAI_SHM
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 10, 254 2011-07-13 18:31 /dev/RTAI_SHM

I also changed the file /etc/default/grub
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash lapic"

The result remains the same.

Truth be told from what I and others have experienced some machines run fine on 8.04 but not on 10.04
If you do not have a compelling reason to use 10.04 at this time you might consider staying with 8.04 until the magic bullet for 10.04 is found.

Rick,
I also thought about it. Let's wait for better times to 10.04, even more 8.04 with EMC work fine.
I just wanted to try a new OS. :)
