The re-enabled charge pump works as you suggested. I'll keep an eye open for any strangeness as these drives can be
sensitive beasts. For example the preset G540 timings in stepconf turned out to be a disaster with my drives.
If I don't report back assume all is good.

D525MW question.... What is it's architecture? I type in: "uname -m" and I get back "i686". Does that mean i386, x86, or x86_64?

Highlander01: think yours is actually older. 0069 - version 69 on yours.

latest version 74 available here - fixed an issue for me regarding shutting down the system.
