emc2-sim crash after splash on 10.04 was created by deadbear
I couldn't find a previous thread that would help.

I just want to be able to verify generated Gcode on my laptop, but I get the following error with any configuration I choose.

Here's the error dump for the axis config. The only difference is that for some configs I dont ever get the error report, just silence.

It looks like a memory access problem.... but I wouldn't know what to do with it and I wouldn't want to try super using it until I here from an expert.

Many thanks.

Did you upgrade from 2.3 to 2.4 by any chance?

Replied by deadbear on topic Re:emc2-sim crash after splash on 10.04
Thats it!
Didn't know the configuration files were left when I upgraded from 8.04.

Many Thanks.
