Upgrading from 6.06 to 10.04 Live CD

Hi everyone,

I plan on upgrading Ubuntu/EMC2, and I just wanted to
check in with the group to make sure I'm doing it the
right way.

Here's my situation: A couple years ago, I installed Ubuntu/EMC2 from the 6.06 Live CD.
Now, to upgrade, should I just download the 10.04 Live CD and install it
over the old installation? Or is there more to it than that.

I would first boot from the 10.04 live CD without installing and run the latency test. See if 10.04 is right for your machine.
